It comes complete with dual weep holes and a recessed sump area for added drainage. Its reversible clamping ring allows for an additional half inch of height adjustment. It complies with new construction drain test requirements and covers both the wet test from the shower as well as the pressure test from above floors. Use the D50998 tailpiece extension when additional height is needed. Before testing, the spud should be threaded down to its lowest point, making contact with the plug. The plug should make complete contact with the drain opening. Remove the test plug with pliers and discard after testing.
